The lace in this photo is handmade~ I've had the pleasure of meeting with a lovely lady in our church once a week when I can. She has been teaching me the forgotten art of lace making~old bobbins dangle from a round pillow ...each with hand painted glass beads attached to the ends for weight....I could just stare at the beads all day- they are so beautiful~ lots of pins and cotton thread as you weave your way back and forth... it takes time & a
skillful eye~I feel so blessed to learn such a thing of the past~
