on your toes~

I had dreams last night I was walking around on my toes~

did you know there was a movie called this?

On Your Toes was originally conceived as a film, and as a vehicle for Fred Astaire. His refusal of the part, because he thought that the role clashed with his debonair image developed in his contemporary films, caused it to be produced as a theatrical performance. Richard Rodgers wrote: "Astaire at that point in his career was a pretty chic fellow who usually wore white ties and tails, and the producers felt that there was no chance in our script for him to appear that way."^[1][2] Astaire thought that the ballet background in the plot was too "highbrow" for his audiences.^[3]Ray Bolger was given the role, which allowed him to rise to stardom


It made me think... watch out if you think your above something! You never know what God is doing.....I want to be on my toes and rise to His stardom! He may have something SO awesome for you...could PRIDE be in your way?.....someone else may get the blessing!

~catching up

I am slowly getting there~ You are not forgotten! It seems that everything is just taking me a bit longer for some reason.

I can hear the waves crash beneath the huge cliffs down the road and across the way a bit. Their sound is as distant thunder, my tea-cups rattle with each bowing of their majesty against the rocks.

I stand in awe of the Lord and His creation...giving thanks for what He has done and is about to do...remembering He has a plan for each of us....how than shall we walk?...walk worhty...

come for a visit!

I have to say I am so tierd! Busy putting things away and trying to find my way around. I would love to catch up with you so drop me a line......I hope to answer emails shortly. I will be posting all the pics of of our home and surroundings here in Shell Beach. The California coastline takes my breath away. We are truely blessed with the climate and weather. I am thanking the Lord for everything and for finding us this affoardable wee beach cottage! We have a bit of a road ahead of us....I don't like posting everything....I am so thankful for Jesus! wedding fair~

I was blessed to be able to go to a wedding fair this weekend~ I love weddings...I love the planning & I love the decorating ! It's all in the details I think!

I had fun walking around and seeing what was out there.....they handed out SO many cake samples for all the brides to be to taste too! Yum....my favorite was this white cake here!
